General NPDES permit definition

General NPDES permit means an authorization granted to a category of point source discharges pursuant to §9 of these regulations.
General NPDES permit means an authorization to discharge under the NPDES rules, that is applicable to all owners and operators of point sources of a particular category located within a designated general permit boundary, other than owners and operators of such sources to whom individual NPDES permits have been issued.
