Government Intervention definition

Government Intervention means (a) any decision, order, direction, instruction or requirement of a Government Authority for AST to take or omit to take any action including any suspension, termination or change relating to a Contract; (b) the removal or withdrawal or failure to obtain renewal of any authorisations or regulatory formalities required for a Contract for whatever reason; or (c) any other requirement or restriction imposed under applicable Law;
Government Intervention has the meaning given in clause 8.8; "Halifax Abuse Principle" means the principle explained in the CJEU Case C-255/02 Halifax and others;
Government Intervention means any administrative, executive or legislative act, whether of a commercial or political nature, of the Government of the Republic of South Africa or any administrative authority, department, political subdivision or taxing authority thereof or therein;
