Governmental Board definition

Governmental Board means any government or political subdivision, or any agency, board, commission, department or instrumentality of either, or any court, tribunal, central bank or arbitrator.
Governmental Board and "Governmental Agency" shall each mean federal, state, municipal and other governmental authorities, boards and agencies of any state, nation or government, except that they shall not be construed to include The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the lessor under this Agreement.

Examples of Governmental Board in a sentence

  • No other authorization or approval or other action by, and no notice to or filing with, any Governmental Board is required for the due execution, delivery and performance by the Agency of this Agreement or the due execution, delivery or performance by the Agency of the other Bond Documents.

  • In the event that any provision of this Agreement shall be declared by any Court, Governmental Board or Agency having jurisdiction, to be illegal or contrary to law, order or directive of any such Board or Agency having jurisdiction, then such provision shall be inoperative and without any effect upon the remaining provisions of this Agreement.

  • Any provisions of this Agreement hereinabove mentioned which provide for Union security or employment in a manner or to an extent prohibited by any law or the determination of any Governmental Board or Agency shall be and hereby are of no force or effect during the term of any such prohibition.

Related to Governmental Board

  • Governmental Entity means any national, federal, state, municipal, local, territorial, foreign or other government or any department, commission, board, bureau, agency, regulatory authority or instrumentality thereof, or any court, judicial, administrative or arbitral body or public or private tribunal.

  • Governmental Body means any government or governmental or regulatory body thereof, or political subdivision thereof, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, instrumentality or authority thereof, or any court or arbitrator (public or private).

  • Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.11(b).

  • Governmental Entities has the meaning ascribed to it in the Purchase Agreement.

  • Governmental Authority(ies) means any court, legislature, council, agency, authority, board (including, without limitation, environmental protection, planning and zoning), bureau, commission, department, office or instrumentality of any nature whatsoever of any governmental or quasi-governmental unit, or any governmental, public or quasi-public authority, of any foreign, domestic, federal, state, county, city, borough, municipal government or other political subdivision of any of the foregoing, or any official thereof, whether now or hereafter in existence.
