Governmental Board definition

Governmental Board means any government or political subdivision, or any agency, board, commission, department or instrumentality of either, or any court, tribunal, central bank or arbitrator.
Governmental Board means the government of any nation or state or any political subdivision thereof, or any supranational body or authority, or any agency, board, commission, department or instrumentality of any of the foregoing, or any court, tribunal, central bank or arbitrator.
Governmental Board and "Governmental Agency" shall each mean federal, state, municipal and other governmental authorities, boards and agencies of any state, nation or government, except that they shall not be construed to include The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the lessor under this Agreement.

  • In the event that any provision of this Agreement shall be declared by any Court, Governmental Board or Agency having jurisdiction, to be illegal or contrary to law, order or directive of any such Board or Agency having jurisdiction, then such provision shall be inoperative and without any effect upon the remaining provisions of this Agreement.

  • Relevant Governmental Body means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or a committee officially endorsed or convened by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or any successor thereto.

  • Governmental Authorization means any permit, license, authorization, plan, directive, consent order or consent decree of or from any Governmental Authority.

  • Government Entity means (a) any federal, state, provincial or similar government, and any body, board, department, commission, court, tribunal, authority, agency or other instrumentality of any such government or otherwise exercising any executive, legislative, judicial, administrative or regulatory functions of such government or (b) any other government entity having jurisdiction over any matter contemplated by the Operative Agreements or relating to the observance or performance of the obligations of any of the parties to the Operative Agreements.

  • Highway authority means the state highway commission, a board of county road commissioners or the governing body of a city or village.

  • Governmental Action means all authorizations, consents, approvals, waivers, exceptions, variances, orders, licenses, exemptions, publications, filings, notices to and declarations of or with any Governmental Authority (other than requirements the failure to comply with which will not affect the validity or enforceability of any Loan Document or have a material adverse effect on the transactions contemplated by any Loan Document or any material rights, power or remedy of any Person thereunder or any other action in respect of any Governmental Authority).
