Examples of Governmental Obligations in a sentence
All moneys or Governmental Obligations deposited with the Trustee pursuant to Sections 11.01 or 11.02 shall be held in trust and shall be available for payment as due, either directly or through any paying agent (including the Company acting as its own paying agent), to the holders of the particular series of Securities for the payment or redemption of which such moneys or Governmental Obligations have been deposited with the Trustee.
In connection with the satisfaction and discharge of this Indenture all moneys or Governmental Obligations then held by any paying agent under the provisions of this Indenture shall, upon demand of the Company, be paid to the Trustee and thereupon such paying agent shall be released from all further liability with respect to such moneys or Governmental Obligations.
Such payment shall be deemed made when the Governmental Unit has deposited with an escrow agent, in trust, (i) moneys sufficient to make such payment, and/or (ii) noncallable Governmental Obligations maturing as to principal and interest in such amount and at such times as will ensure the availability of sufficient moneys to make such payment and when all necessary and proper expenses of the Finance Authority have been paid or provided for.
Governmental Obligations within the meaning of this Section 8.2, unless otherwise approved by the Finance Authority, shall include only (1) cash, (2) U.S. Treasury Certificates, Notes and Bonds (including State and Local Government Series – “SLGs”), and (3) obligations the principal of and interest on which are unconditionally guaranteed by the United States of America.
Attached to this Tax Agreement as Exhibit A is a copy of IRS Form 8038-G (Information Return for Tax-Exempt Governmental Obligations) filed with the Internal Revenue Service in connection with the issuance of the Bonds as required by Code § 149.
