Graduate level course definition

Graduate level course means any course to be used herein which is offered at a regionally accredited college or university that is considered graduate level at that institution.
Graduate level course means any course which is awarded graduate level credit by a regionally accredited college or university.

Prior approval must be obtained for courses taken while employed by the College. Graduate courses which are relevant and useful to the employee’s assignment may be utilized for placement in a +15, +30 or +45 lane at the time of hire.

Examples of Graduate level course in a sentence

  • Graduate level course shall be eligible for reimbursement and advancement on the salary schedule when it is determined by the Superintendent that the course is from an accredited university or institution of higher learning, and that the course relates directly to the subject area in which the employee is currently assigned or would assist the employee in obtaining additional certifications and/or licensures for potential positions within the district.

  • Graduate level course credit earned from a department or college other than the education department will be evaluated by the Superintendent or designee as to its application based upon the teacher’s specific assignment.
