Groundwater resource definition

Groundwater resource means any water flowing or lying under the surface of the earth or contained within an aquifer.
Groundwater resource and “groundwater resources” mean water in a saturated zone or stratum beneath the surface of land or water and the rocks or sediments through which groundwater moves, including but not limited to groundwater resources that constitute drinking water supplies. “Habitat resource” and “habitat resources” mean all natural resources other than groundwater resources.
