Group Net Metering definition

Group Net Metering means an arrangement whereby surplus energy generated/injected from a Renewable Energy System or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) charged through Renewable Energy System is exported to the grid through Net Meter and the exported energy is adjusted in more than one electricity service connection(s) of the same consumer located within the same distribution licensee’s area of supply;
Group Net Metering means a group of customers, or a single customer with multiple electric meters, located within the same electric company service territory, where the customer or customers have elected to combine meters in order to offset billing against a net-metering system.
Group Net Metering means adjustment of electricity consumption imported at another electricity service connection of the Prosumer within the same State or Union Territory and same licensed supplier of electricity, with the surplus energy exported to the Grid from a Solar Power Plant in excess of 100% (one hundred percent) of imported energy at the location of the Solar Plant premises.

  • Without the prior written consent of the System Owner, the Customer shall not enter into a Group Net Metering Arrangement with any person or entity, other than System Owner, during the Term with respect to any Customer Meter or connect any individual net metering system to a Customer Meter.

  • In no event shall any officer, member, manager, employee or owner of the System Owner be liable under this Agreement or otherwise in the event the System fails to generate electricity or output at any time, if System Owner fails to maintain any necessary license, permit or government approval, or for any error or omission in any filing or instructions submitted by or on behalf of System Owner, the Administrator or the Group Net Metering Arrangement to the Utility or any governmental entity.

  • OWNER, in its sole discretion, shall serve as the Administrator of this Group Net Metering Arrangement in accordance with this Agreement and applicable law.

  • This Lease Agreement shall commence upon the execution date set forth on the first page and shall terminate twenty five (25) years from the Commissioning Date as defined in the Group Net Metering Agreement, unless sooner terminated earlier in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Lease Agreement (the "Term") or the Group Net Metering Agreement.

  • Upon request by the Administrator, the Customer shall provide monthly invoices from Eversource to confirm usage information for accounts listed in Schedule A of the Group Net Metering Agreement.


More Definitions of Group Net Metering

Group Net Metering or “GNM” means an arrangement whereby surplus energy from the roof top solar is exported to the grid and the exported energy is adjusted in more than one electricity service connection(s) of the same name consumer located within the area of supply of the distribution licensee as specified by the Commission.
Group Net Metering means that more than one electricity account of the same Consumer with the same licensed supplier within a state or union territory can share the benefit of a single solar project on one of the locations of the Consumer. Sharing of the benefit at other locations shall be availed after fully adjusting the imports of one Consumer connection.
