Hardware Unit definition

Hardware Unit means a unit supplied by Caliper which comprises at least a compound plate handling system capable of manipulating a test plate both prior to and after evaluation of potential pharmaceutical agents from the plates, a dilutor capable of diluting wellx xx a multi-well plate, a LabChip support/manipulator which physically positions the LabChip to accept potential pharmaceutical agents from the plate, a system to detect reactions on a LabChip, and electronic means for controlling the movement and operation of each of the foregoing steps, said means being under the control of Hardware Unit Software.
Hardware Unit means each individual unit of Customer Equipment bearing a separate identification code, including but not limited to Bitcoin Miners.

  • In the event of a governmental taking of a Hardware unit for an indefinite period or for a stated period, which does not extend beyond the Schedule Term, all obligations of Lessee with respect to such Hardware unit (including payment of Rent) shall continue.

  • Any Hardware unit that has been replaced under the Hardware Warranty will be covered by the terms of the Hardware Warranty for the longer of (a) 90 days from the date of the delivery, or (b) the remainder of the original Hardware Warranty period.

  • Client shall pay the Monthly Client Fees for each Hardware unit, regardless of activation date, to be activated on the Communications Network or Hosted Application specified in the applicable OneView Contract Agreement, beginning on the Term Start Date.

  • Any Hardware unit that has been repaired or replaced under the Limited Warranty will be covered by the terms of the Limited Warranty for the longer of (a) ninety (90) days from the date of the delivery or the repaired Hardware unit or its replacement, or (b) the remainder of the original one-year Limited Warranty period.

Hardware Unit or Hardware Units" means any reusable medical equipment supplied by or on behalf of the Company and used in conjunction with the Disposables in the System, such as, but not limited to, lasers and all System accessories provided by the Company such as, but not limited to, cables, monitors, handpieces and the like associated therewith, and including all software provided by the Company as part thereof or in connection therewith (subject to the provisions of Section 2.2 hereof), in each case with the configuration of and specifications for such Hardware Unit as in effect at the Effective Date, and all subsequent versions, modifications, improvements and new generations thereof which utilize lasers or other devices or technologies which the Company may develop from time to time during the term of this Agreement for the Designated Use.

  • Software Upgrade means a release of Software, in object code form, or firmware, which adds new functionality and feature enhancements to the Software or Equipment.
