Headline Fee definition

Headline Fee means the price per week that the Provider is entitled to receive for providing Standard Care, prior to any awards or reductions in payment which are linked to service quality (Reduced Quality Deduction, Enhanced Quality Award or Default Rate) as set out in Column 1 of Appendix 1”;

Examples of Headline Fee in a sentence

  • A flat rate deduction to the Headline Fee of £20 may be applied to incentivise Providers to improve their performance as evidenced by the QAF grading system.

  • Where a Care Home receives a QAF score of 2 or less in the themed area of ‘Quality of Care and Support’, and where that Care Home has previously been graded at that level or below in that theme, the £20 Reduced Quality Deduction per Resident per week will normally be deducted from the Headline Fee (for both nursing and residential Care Homes).
