Higher Learning Commission definition

Higher Learning Commission or "HLC" means an independent corporation that serves as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the U.S. and accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central Region, which includes Illinois.

  • Teachers who have completed Master’s level course work in a content area satisfying the 2022 Higher Learning Commission Standards related to courses resulting in college credit for students shall be entitled to additional compensation set forth under Appendix B and identified as “Dual Credit Qualified”.

  • Any marketing of this Agreement or Program Agreements is subject to the prior approval of both parties and must comply with Higher Learning Commission requirements.
