HIV - Medically Acquired means the accidental infection with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) which Cigna believes, on the balance of probabilities, arose from one of the following medically necessary events which must have occurred to the Life Insured, in New Zealand or Australia, by a recognised and registered health professional:
