Holiday Weekend definition

Holiday Weekend means any weekend containing a national holiday on either Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
Holiday Weekend means any three (3) or four (4) day period which includes Saturday and Sunday which is recognized nationally or statewide as a holiday weekend.

  • Seniority employees will be entitled to a total of two (2) personal paid holidays per contract year which can be requested when calling in absent as long as the call is not attached to a Holiday Weekend.

  • The liquidated damages associated with Day and Time Restrictions, described in Intermediate Contract Time Number 1, will not apply to this work; however, the liquidated damages associated with Holiday and Holiday Weekend Lane Closure Restrictions will apply to this work.
