GFR means General Financial Rules
approved blood scheme means a scheme established or approved by the Secretary of State, or trust established with funds provided by the Secretary of State, for the purpose of providing compensation in respect of a person having been infected from contaminated blood products;
BC Bid means the BC Bid website located at www.bcbid.ca;
the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme means the scheme of that name administered by the Common Services Agency (constituted under section 10 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(b));
CTS Interface Bid means: (1) in PJM, a unified real-time bid to simultaneously purchase and sell energy on either side of a CTS Enabled Interface in accordance with the procedures of Section 1.13 of Schedule 1 of the Amended and Restated Operating Agreement of PJM, L.L.C.; and (2) in NYISO, a real-time bid provided by an entity engaged in an external transaction at a CTS Enabled Interface, as more fully described in NYISO Services Tariff Section 2.3.
Pump spray means a packaging system in which the product ingredients within the container are not under pressure and in which the product is expelled only while a pumping action is applied to a button, trigger or other actuator.
Digital Signal Level 0 (DS-0 means the lowest-level signal in the time division multiplex digital hierarchy, and represents a voice-grade channel operating at either the 56 Kbps or 64 Kbps transmission bit rates. There are twenty-four (24) DS-0 channels in a DS-1.
Base Bid means a Bid for Public Works to be performed or Supplies or Services to be furnished under a City Contract, including additives, alternates, deductives, excluding force accounts, and taxes collected separately pursuant to Washington Administrative Code (“WAC”) 458-20-171.
Approved purchasing system means a Contractor’s purchasing system that has been reviewed and approved in accordance with Part 44 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Manual Load Dump Warning means a notification from PJM to warn Members of an increasingly critical condition of present operations that may require manually shedding load.
Secondary dose monitoring system means a system which will terminate irradiation in the event of failure of the primary dose monitoring system.
Check Meter means the Buyer revenue-quality meter section(s) or meter(s), which Buyer may require at its discretion, and which will include those devices normally supplied by Buyer or Seller under the applicable utility electric service requirements.
Digital Signal Level 3 (DS-3 means the 44.736 Mbps third level signal in the time division multiplex hierarchy.
Adult motion picture theater means an enclosed building with a capacity of fifty (50) or more persons regularly used for presenting materials having as a dominant theme or presenting material distinguished or characterized by an emphasis on matter depicting, describing or relating to "specified sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas" as defined below, for observation by any means by patrons therein.
Direction-indicator lamp means the lamp used to indicate to other road-users that the driver intends to change direction to the right or to the left;
Digital Signal Level 1 (DS-1 means the 1.544 Mbps first level signal in the time division multiplex hierarchy.
CCCFA means the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003;
Multiple Bill/Single Tariff means the billing method used when Switched Exchange Access Services is jointly provided by the Parties. As described in the MECAB document, each Party will render a bill in accordance with its own tariff for that portion of the service it provides. Each Party will bill its own network access service rates.
HEPA filter means high-efficiency particulate air filters that are rated to achieve a minimum initial particle-removal efficiency of 99.97 per cent using ASTM F 1471– 93 or equivalent standard;
