HSA Benefits definition

HSA Benefits means contributions made to a Health Savings Account on tax-free salary reduction basis under this Plan.
HSA Benefits means the HSA Contributions that a Participant has elected to make through a Compensation Reduction Agreement, plus any contributions which the Employer may make to the HSA through this Plan from time-to-time (“Employer HSA Benefits”).
HSA Benefits means a Health Savings Account (HSA) established outside the Section 125 Plan with the Employee’s HSA trustee/custodian that may be funded by the Employer and/or Eligible Employee with pre-tax contributions.

Examples of HSA Benefits in a sentence

  • Note: You cannot elect HSA Benefits and Health FSA Benefits together unless you elect the Limited (Vision/Dental/Preventive Care) Health FSA Coverage Option.

  • In addition, if you have an election for Health FSA Benefits (other than the Limited (Vision/Dental/Preventive Care) Health FSA Coverage Option) that is in effect on the last day of a Plan Year, you cannot elect HSA Benefits for any of the first three calendar months following the close of that Plan Year, unless the balance in your Health FSA Account is $0 as of the last day of that Plan Year.

  • Employee-Plus-Children Health FSA Coverage.Note: If you elect Health FSA Benefits, you cannot also elect HSA Benefits or otherwise make contributions to an HSA unless you elect a Limited (Vision/Dental/Preventive Care) Health FSA Coverage Option which is only available if offered by the employer.

  • HSA Benefits cannot be elected with Health FSA Benefits unless the Limited (Vision/Dental/Preventive Care) Health FSA Option is selected.

  • Eligibility for HSA Benefits also requires that you be an "HSA-Eligible Individual." See 'What are HSA Benefits?'.

  • Even though this Plan may allow tax-free salary reduction contributions to an HSA in the form of HSA Benefits, and the Employer may elect to contribute to a Participant’s HSA, the HSA is not intended to be an ERISA benefit plan sponsored or maintained by the Employer.

  • Eligible Employees may elect HSA Benefits only if the Employee is covered by High Deductible Health Coverage, meets other criteria for participation in an HSA outlined in Section 223 of the Code, and is enrolled in the HSA described in the Plan Highlights.

  • National and local commissioning priorities and other quality and safety indicators are reviewed at regular Clinical Quarterly Review Group meetings (CQRG) with commissioners.

  • In addition, because the Health FSA includes a grace period, if you have an election for Health FSA Benefits (other than the Limited (Vision/Dental/Preventive Care) Health FSA Coverage Option) that is in effect on the last day of a Plan Year, you cannot elect HSA Benefits or otherwise make contributions to an HSA for any of the first three calendar months following the close of that Plan Year, unless the balance in your Health FSA Account is $0 as of the last day of that Plan Year.

Related to HSA Benefits

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Employment benefits means all benefits provided or made

  • Separation Benefits has the meaning accorded such term in Section 3.04.

  • Medical Benefits means medical, optical, or dental benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits.

  • Health Benefits means health maintenance organization, insured or self-funded medical, dental, vision, prescription drug and behavioral health benefits.

  • Severance Benefits mean the payment of severance compensation as provided in Section 2.3 herein.

  • Accrued Benefits shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Covered benefits or “benefits” means those health care services to which a covered person is entitled under the terms of a health benefit plan.

  • Gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are less than, greater than or equal to the schedule fee, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • Fringe benefits means the amount of:

  • Relevant Benefits means any pension, annuity, lump sum, gratuity or other like benefit given or to be given on retirement or death, or in anticipation of retirement.

  • Vested Benefits means amounts that are vested or that Executive is otherwise entitled to receive, without the performance by Executive of further services or the resolution of a contingency, under the terms of or in accordance with any investment and savings plan or retirement plan (including any plan providing retiree medical benefits) of the Company or its affiliates, and any ERPs or ESPs related thereto, and any deferred compensation or employee stock purchase plan or similar plan or program of the Company or its affiliates.

  • Additional Benefits means quantifiable and verifiable enhancement of conservation of biodiversity and/or improvement of local livelihoods realized as a result of implementation of the REDD activities;

  • Severance Pay means any amount that is payable in cash and is identified by a Participating Company as severance pay, or any amount which is payable on account of periods beginning after the last date on which an employee (or former employee) is required to report for work for a Participating Company.

  • Severance Benefit means the payment of severance compensation as provided in Article III.

  • Change in Control Benefits means the following benefits:

  • Bereavement Pay Benefits means the benefits as set out in Article II hereof.

  • Welfare Benefits means the types of benefits described in Section 3(1) of ERISA (whether or not covered by ERISA).

  • Compensation and Benefits Programs means all compensation and benefit plans, policies, and programs of the Debtors, and all amendments and modifications thereto, applicable to the Debtors’ employees, former employees, retirees, and non-employee directors and the employees, former employees and retirees of their subsidiaries, including all savings plans, retirement plans, health care plans, disability plans, and incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance plans.

  • Additional gap medical benefits means the benefits (if any) payable in respect of medical expenses that are more than the schedule fee and which otherwise meet the requirements of the fund’s no or known gap policy, provided always that the medical expenses relate to a professional service that:
