Hydraulic Grade Line definition
Hydraulic Grade Line means the line representing the pressure head available at any given point within the drainage system.
Hydraulic Grade Line means a line joining points whose vertical distances from the centroid of the cross section of the stream flowing in a closed channel are proportional to the pressures in the pipe at the point, or in an open-channel, the flow lies in the surface of the stream.
