Immediate treatment definition

Immediate treatment means the kind of urgent treatment that would be required for a serious injury or illness. It includes treatment by a registered medical practitioner, a paramedic or registered nurse.

Examples of Immediate treatment in a sentence

  • Immediate treatment for any Emergency Medical Services or Emergency Mental Health Disorder or Substance Abuse Disorder Services by a health provider that is most suitable for the type of injury, illness or condition, regardless of whether the facility is in Contractor’s Network.

  • A reasonable attempt shall be made to notify parents or guardians prior to detention.

  • Immediate treatment includes support of cardiorespiratory function and measures to reduce drug absorption.
