IN DISTRICT means any portion of a county that is part of a Senator’s district and an area not to exceed 40 miles from those county boundaries. Separate approval by the Committee on Senate Organization is not required for reimbursement under this policy. Reimbursement is for actual and necessary expenses and is charged to the Senator’s office expense account.
