Independent adjusters definition
Independent adjusters means the insurance adjusters who are hired on a contract basis by insurance companies to represent the insurance companies’ interests in the settlement of claims. They are paid by the insurance companies. They will not charge the insureds fees.
Independent adjusters means adjusters employed by the Independent Adjusting Companies and trained in evaluating the claims of Settlement Class members set forth in Section 7.
