Indigenous Group definition

Indigenous Group means any Indian or Indian Band (as those terms are defined in the Indian Act (Canada)), Indigenous Person or People, Inuk or Inuit, Métis Person or People, Aboriginal Person or People, native Person or People, Indigenous Person or People, any person or group asserting or otherwise claiming an aboriginal or treaty right, including aboriginal title, or any other aboriginal interest, and any Person or group representing, or purporting to represent, any of the foregoing.
Indigenous Group means any indigenous or aboriginal Persons, tribes or bands or similar groups near which a mine owned by an Obligor is located.
Indigenous Group means a recognized group of aboriginal peoples, including a band within the meaning of the Indian Act (Canada).

Indigenous Group includes any native, indigenous or aboriginal peoples or group, or any person, peoples or group asserting or otherwise claiming a native, indigenous or aboriginal or treaty right or any other similarly based or derived right (including native, indigenous or aboriginal title) or any other native, indigenous, aboriginal or similar interest, including the Inuit peoples of Canada, and any Person or group representing any of the foregoing.
