Individual Agent definition

Individual Agent means a member in good standing of the Sponsoring Organization identified in Item 7 of the Declarations who has applied for and been accepted for coverage under this Policy with the Company or its designee.
Individual Agent means an individual agent or agency that is properly licensed to sell health insurance under applicable state law within the Service Area, who is employed by or contracted with Agency, and who sells and services Medica’s Benefit Contracts in accordance with this Agreement.
Individual Agent means an insurance agent who is an individual, natural person and who is not registered as an Insurance Agency;

  • Each Individual Agent must provide either:- one document from Group A, or - one document from Group B AND one document from Group C.

  • Medica will not be liable for Compensation for any Member under the following circumstances: (i) for any period during or with respect to which neither Agency nor any Individual Agent is designated as Agent of Record for such Member; or (ii) if Agency is in default under any material term of this Agreement.


More Definitions of Individual Agent

Individual Agent means a sole proprietorship under Business Name Act (Chapter 92) to transact in general insurance or general takaful business for general insurance company or general takaful operator. Any individual agent registered must be a Brunei citizen or permanent resident.
