Sales of gift cards surpassed $118 billion in 2013, an 8% increase over 2012, according to CEB (NYSE: CEB), a leading member-based advisory company. The e-gifting trend will help propel continued growth in the gift card market (physical and digital) in excess of $140 billion in sales by 2016.
