Ineligible Person shall include an individual or entity who:
i. is currently excluded, debarred, suspended, or otherwise ineligible to participate in the Federal health care programs or in Federal procurement or nonprocurement programs; or
ii. has been convicted of a criminal offense that falls within the scope of 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7(a), but has not yet been excluded, debarred, suspended, or otherwise declared ineligible.
Ineligible Person is an individual who (1) is currently excluded, suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to participate in Federal health care programs, or (2) has been convicted of a criminal offense related to the provision of health care items or services and has not been reinstated in the Federal health care programs after a period of exclusion, suspension, debarment or ineligibility. Ineligible Person means (i) any person whose address is in, or whom the Bank or its transfer agent has reason to believe is a resident of, any jurisdiction outside Canada to the extent that the issuance by the Bank or delivery by its transfer agent to that person, pursuant to an NVCC Automatic Conversion, of Common Shares would require the Bank to take any action to comply with securities, banking or analogous laws of that jurisdiction, and (ii) any person to the extent that the issuance by the Bank or delivery by its transfer agent to that person, pursuant to an NVCC Automatic Conversion, of Common Shares would cause the Bank to be in violation of any law to which the Bank is subject.
Examples of Ineligible Person in a sentence
CONTRACTOR shall not hire or engage any Ineligible Person to provide services directly relative to this Agreement.
In addition to any other appropriate measures, PRMC shall ensure that any physician who is an Ineligible Person is not “on call” at PRMC.
If a physician with staff privileges is an Ineligible Person, PRMC shall ensure that the physician does not furnish, order, or prescribe any items or services payable in whole or in part by any Federal health care program.
If CONTRACTOR becomes aware that a Covered Individual has become an Ineligible Person, CONTRACTOR shall remove such individual from responsibility for, or involvement with, DISTRICT business operations related to this Agreement.
PRMC shall implement a policy requiring all Covered Persons to disclose immediately any debarment, exclusion, suspension, or other event that makes that person an Ineligible Person.
More Definitions of Ineligible Person
Ineligible Person shall include an individual or entity who:
i. is currently excluded from participation in any Federal health care program; or
ii. has been convicted of (a) a criminal offense that is related to the delivery of an item or service under Medicare or any state health care program; (b) a criminal offense relating to neglect or abuse of patients; (c) a felony criminal offense relating to fraud, theft, embezzlement, breach of fiduciary responsibility, or other financial misconduct in connection with the delivery of a health care item or service or with respect to a government funded health care program (other than Medicare or a state health care program); or
Ineligible Person is an individual who has been (1) convicted of a crime involving fraud or abuse of the Medi-Cal program, or (2) suspended from the federal Medicare program for any reason. Ineligible Person means any person whose address is in, or whom the Partnership or the Transfer Agent has reason to believe is a resident of, any jurisdiction outside Canada where the issue or delivery to that person of Series 7 Preferred Limited Partnership Units or Series 8 Preferred Limited Partnership Units would require the Partnership to take any action to comply with securities or analogous laws of that jurisdiction.
Ineligible Person means (a) a natural person or (b) other than as set forth and in accordance with Section 13.1(b)(iii), the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or other controlled Affiliates.
Ineligible Person means any person whose address is in, or whom the Bank or its transfer agent has reason to believe is a resident of, any jurisdiction outside of Canada to the extent that the issuance or delivery by the Bank to such person of Series 24 Shares, Series 25 Shares, New Preferred Shares or Common Shares, as the case may be, upon the exercise of rights of conversion or upon a Contingent Conversion (a) would require the Bank to take any action to comply with securities, banking or analogous laws of such jurisdiction or (b) would give rise to a liability for withholding tax in connection with such issuance or delivery.
Ineligible Person means an individual or entity who (1) is currently excluded, debarred, suspended or otherwise ineligible to participate in (a) Federal health care programs, as may be identified in the List of Excluded Individuals/Entities maintained by the OIG, or (b) Federal procurement or nonprocurement programs, as may be identified in the Excluded Parties List System maintained by the General Services Administration, (2) has been convicted of a criminal offense subject to OIG’s mandatory exclusion authority for Federal health care programs as described in section 1128(a) of the Social Security Act, but has not yet been excluded, debarred or otherwise declared ineligible to participate in such programs, or (3) is currently excluded, debarred, suspended or otherwise ineligible to participate in State medical assistance programs, including Medicaid or CHIP, or State procurement or nonprocurement programs as determined by a State governmental authority.
Ineligible Person means a member whose current status with the State Bar of California is disbarred, suspended, resigned, or involuntarily inactive.
