Step 1 Informal Meeting with Immediate Supervisor The parties agree that it is mutually desired that whenever possible grievances be resolved informally at the lowest step.
To initiate a grievance, the Employee and/or Association Representative shall, within ten (10) working days of the Employee first becoming aware of the occurrence of the incident, or five (5) working days from the Supervisor’s written response from the Informal Meeting, submit a written grievance directly to the Exempt Supervisor that includes the articles alleged to have been violated.
If no settlement is reached at the Level I Informal Meeting, the grievance will be reduced to writing and presented within fifteen (15) days following the Informal Meeting to the immediate supervisor or District Administrator for reconsideration.
