Information technology vendor definition

Information technology vendor means a person or entity who provides or proposes to provide information technology goods or services in excess of an aggregate amount of four hundred thousand dollars to the office pursuant to a procurement contract or contracts for one or more projects within a fiscal year, but does not include an employee of the office, a state agency, or an instrumentality of the State. The term includes a corporation whose shares are traded publicly and which is the parent company of the contracting party in a procurement contract.
