Injection molding definition

Injection molding means a closed molding process for fabricating composites in which composite materials are injected under pressure into a heated mold cavity that represents the exact shape of the product. The composite materials are cured in the heated mold cavity.
Injection molding has the meaning ascribed to it in the preamble to the Agreement.
Injection molding means a technology for molding plastics through which rawplastic granules are melted under high-temperature and injected by the compressing machine at high pressure into metal moulds

Examples of Injection molding in a sentence

  • Injection molding means the use of a closed mold, where the molding compound is injected into the mold, maintained under pressure, and then cured by applying heat.

  • These three manufacturing departments; Injection molding, Blow molding, and Assembly as well as the Technology Center formed the nucleus for the growth that has allowed Flambeau to become an industry leader as a manufacturer of plastic products sold through three market groups: Retail Markets, Automotive, and Industrial/Packaging.

  • Infiltration means water other than wastewater that enters a sewer system (including sewer system and foundation drains) from the ground through such means as defective pipes, pipe joints, connections, or manholes. Infiltration does not include, and is distinguished from, inflow.

  • Sewage sludge weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, including admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Monitoring frequencies for sewage sludge parameters are based on the reported sludge weight generated in a calendar year (use the most recent calendar year data when the NPDES permit is up for renewal).

  • Sewage sludge means a solid, semi-solid, or liquid residue generated during the treatment of domestic sewage in a treatment works as defined in section 6111.01 of the Revised Code. "Sewage sludge" includes, but is not limited to, scum or solids removed in primary, secondary, or advanced wastewater treatment processes. "Sewage sludge" does not include ash generated during the firing of sewage sludge in a sewage sludge incinerator, grit and screenings generated during preliminary treatment of domestic sewage in a treatment works, animal manure, residue generated during treatment of animal manure, or domestic septage.
