Inpatient facilities definition
Inpatient facilities means medical facilities offering assistance to persons suffering from substance abuse problems including but not limited to: intensive inpatient facilities; long-term residential drug treatment facilities; recovery house facilities and substance abuse facilities.
Inpatient facilities means any establishment having beds as defined under rule 51;
Inpatient facilities means any establishment having beds for admission of patients;

Inpatient facilities do not meet current guidance for provision of single rooms and en- suite accommodation.
Inpatient facilities must be Licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services, Regulation and Licensure (or equivalent state agency) or accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
