Installation Commander definition

Installation Commander means an individual who functions in a command position and is responsible for a base or other Air Force installation having a base contracting office.

Installation Commander means a commissioned officer responsible for the protection of assigned forces and assets, lodging, dining and administrative reporting, regardless of the command relations of the various types of forces present on the installation. For purposes of this definition, an installation is an Armed Forces Reserve Center, air base, armory, camp, post, readiness center, office building, the joint forces headquarters or other facility, location, structure or property so designated as an "installation" by the Adjutant General;
