Instant Messaging System definition

Instant Messaging System means any system that provides instant messaging call initiation, login-based call routing, and presence indication. Such a system may be implemented in hardware, software, or a combination thereof.
Instant Messaging System. -- means the system of devices (including hardware, software, and other equipment) used by the City for the purpose of facilitating the electronic transmission of information through the City’s Lotus Notes Sametime System.
