Interconnecting Party definition

Interconnecting Party. - shall mean the party or such party's designee that is responsible for operations of a Natural Gas system which interconnects with Transporter's pipeline system and is responsible for verifying nominations and scheduling gas flow at such point of interconnections. An Interconnecting Party is also a Confirming Party. Each Interconnecting Party is required to submit confirmation pursuant to the timelines identified in Section 6.1 of these General Terms and Conditions, unless specifically exempted by Transporter.

Interconnecting Party means the Party or such Party's
Interconnecting Party. This term has the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph. Interconnection Facilities – WBMLP’s Interconnection Facilities and Interconnecting Party’s Interconnection Facilities, as described in Appendix 1. Collectively, Interconnection Facilities include all facilities and equipment between the Unit and the Point of Interconnection, including any Upgrades that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Unit to the WBMLP Electrical System or ISO-NE’s transmission facilities, as applicable. Interconnection Facilities are sole use facilities and shall not include Upgrades.

The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • connecting point means the point at which the drainage installation joins the connecting sewer;

  • Interconnection Study means any of the studies defined in the CAISO Tariff or, if applicable, any distribution provider’s tariff that reflect the methodology and costs to interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric grid.

  • Interconnection equipment means a group of components or an integrated system owned and operated by the interconnection customer that connects an electric generator with a local electric power system, as that term is defined in Section 3.1.6.2 of IEEE Standard 1547, or with the electric distribution system. Interconnection equipment is all interface equipment including switchgear, protective devices, inverters or other interface devices. Interconnection equipment may be installed as part of an integrated equipment package that includes a generator or other electric source.

  • Generation Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect a new generation facility or to increase the capacity of an existing generation facility interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.

  • Interconnection Service Agreement means an agreement among the Transmission Provider, an Interconnection Customer and an Interconnected Transmission Owner regarding interconnection under Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.

  • Customer Interconnection Facilities means all facilities and equipment owned and/or controlled, operated and maintained by Interconnection Customer on Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in the appropriate appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System.
