Interruption of Supply definition

Interruption of Supply means:A failure or disruption of the normal supply of any of the Covered Contingencies listed below, when such failure or disruption is caused by an Accident to Covered Equipment that is located at a Contingent Business Income supplier or receiver location on your Statement of Values. If no Contingent Business Income supplier or receiver location is indicated in the Coverage Summary, the Covered Equipment must be owned by a supplier from whom you have received the Covered Contingency for at least six months prior to the Accident or a receiver to whom you have supplied the Covered Contingency for at least six months prior to the Accident.
Interruption of Supply means an interruption of the flow of power to a point of supply not requested by the customer for a period exceeding three seconds;
Interruption of Supply means failure or disruption of the normal flow of a raw material, finished product or product pro- cessing services upon which you rely, to or from any "contingent business income location" specified in the declarations, when such failure or disruption is caused by an "accident" to "objects" of a type covered under this policy at the "contin- gent business income location".

Covered Contingencies are raw materials, intermediate products, finished products, packaging materials and product processing services.

Related to Interruption of Supply

  • Interruption means a reduction in non-firm transmission service due to economic reasons pursuant to Tariff, Part II, section 14.7.

  • Catastrophic illness or injury means one of the following:

  • Catastrophic injury or illness means a life-threatening injury or illness of an employee or a member of an employee's immediate family that totally incapacitates the employee from work, as verified by a licensed physician, and forces the employee to exhaust all leave time earned by that employee, resulting in the loss of compensation from the state for the employee. Conditions that are short-term in nature, including, but not limited to, common illnesses such as influenza and the measles, and common injuries, are not catastrophic. Chronic illnesses or injuries, such as cancer or major surgery, that result in intermittent absences from work and that are long-term in nature and require long recuperation periods may be considered catastrophic.

  • Service delivery area means the defined geographic area for delivery of program services.

  • Planned Maintenance means any Maintenance BT has planned to do in advance.

  • Continuous emissions monitoring system or “CEMS” means all of the equipment that may be required to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of this chapter, to sample, to condition (if applicable), to analyze, and to provide a record of emissions on a continuous basis.

  • Repair means to restore to proper operating condition a tank, pipe, spill prevention equipment, overfill prevention equipment, corrosion protection equipment, release detection equipment or other UST system component that has caused a release of product from the UST system or has failed to function properly.

  • Force Majeure Events means acts of war, domestic and/or international terrorism, civil riots or rebellions, quarantines, embargoes and other similar unusual governmental actions, extraordinary elements of nature or acts of God.
