Interstate commission means the Interstate Commission for Juveniles created by Article III of this compact.
Interstate commerce means any commerce moving between any place in a state and any place in another state or between places in the same state through another state;
Interstate means a telecommunications service that originates in one United States state, or a United States territory or possession, and terminates in a different United States state or a United States territory or possession.
Business Combination means any merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or other similar business combination with one or more businesses, involving the Company.
Interstate placement means the arrangement for the care of a child in an adoptive home, foster care placement or in the home of the child's parent or with a relative or nonagency guardian, into or out of the Commonwealth, by a child-placing agency or court when the full legal right of the child's parent or nonagency guardian to plan for the child has been voluntarily terminated or limited or severed by the action of any court.
Interstate system means the system of highways as defined in section 43-2-101 (2).
Intrastate commerce means any and all com- merce or trade that is begun, carried on, and completed wholly within the limits of the State of Washington, and the phrase “introduced into intrastate commerce” defines the time and place at which the first sale and delivery of a commodity is made within the state, the delivery being made either directly to the purchaser or to a common carrier for shipment to the purchaser.
Business Combination Date means the date upon which a Business Combination is consummated.
Hostile Acquisition means the acquisition of the capital stock or other equity interests of a Person through a tender offer or similar solicitation of the owners of such capital stock or other equity interests which has not been approved (prior to such acquisition) by resolutions of the Board of Directors of such Person or by similar action if such Person is not a corporation, or as to which such approval has been withdrawn.
Interstate highway means a highway route on the interstate system as defined in and designated pursuant to Title 23 of the United States Code, prior to the effective date of this act.
Combination means an event in which the Company consolidates with, merges with or into, or sells all or substantially all its property and assets to another Person.
near relative in relation to a seaman means the wife or parent or a grandparent, child, grandchild, brother or sister of the seaman or the guardian or the person having the custody of a child of the seaman;
Appropriate Commission means as defined in the PPA;
Business Combination Agreement shall have the meaning given in the Recitals hereto.
