Current examples of job assignments within a job classification include detectives, traffic team, work center, judicial security unit, jail deputy, patrol, marine patrol, forest patrol, community relations, contracts, jail records SST’s, civil/downtown records SST’s, and civil deputies. This definition does not alter the Sheriff’s right to modify, add or delete job assignments or duties within a job assignment or practices related to the need for gender-based staffing.
