Job Placement Services definition

Job Placement Services means locating, securing, and placing a Customer into a paid, competitive, and integrated job that is mutually agreed upon by the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC), Customer, and the Contractor.
Job Placement Services means professional activities involved in assisting individuals to seek, obtain and maintain appropriate employment. It may include guidance in vocational decision making; a transferable skills analysis, training in job-seeking skills; supportive counseling; identifying job leads; negotiating with employers, supervisors and co-workers; and providing post-employment and follow-up services.

  • Job Placement Services provided under the provisions of this contract must comply with the definitions as described.

  • On June 22, 2015, ETR and the Department of Human Services (DHS) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for Job Placement Services relative to this AJCC – Lamont One- Stop Center, wherein DHS is required to provide space for one (1) employee of ETR assigned to perform the job placement activities outlined in said MOU and staff the Resource Room in the AJCC One-Stop Center.

Job Placement Services means activities completed by the County, after the acceptance of the Referral and the Job Placement Plan by the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Participant, that are needed to obtain CIE. Job Placement Services include all work outlined and accepted in the Referral form, all strategies and methods outlined in the Job Placement Plan, as well as any additional meetings necessary to accomplish the work.
Job Placement Services means services that set up employment relations between those who offer jobs and those who seek jobs through acceptance of job positions and job applications. Since, as a general rule under the revised Immigration Control Act, implementing organizations must conclude employment contracts with technical intern trainees before they enter Japan, acceptance of technical intern trainees (which was formerly handled by supervising organizations in cooperation with sending organizations) is now regarded as a job placement activity. Therefore, supervising organizations must apply for, or submit, permits for job placement services in accordance with Employment Security Law in Japan. Moreover, sending organizations that partner with supervising organizations must have permits for job placement to dispatch technical intern trainees to Japan in accordance with applicable countrieslaws and regulations as overseas job placement services.
