Job Postings. For purposes of this addendum, qualified covered applicants in the location where the position is posted have priority over qualified covered applicants from the QMC other locations. When a bargaining unit member applies for a vacant position within the first 72 hours of the posting those qualified covered applicants in the location and work unit or cost center where the position is posted have priority over applicants at the same location outside the work unit or cost center. QMC qualified covered applicants have priority over non-covered applicants provided that the covered applicant applied within the first 72 hours. Job Postings. Vacancies in each shift and each classification shall be posted in all worksites. Employees shall have two (2) weeks from the date the vacancy is posted to make application in writing for the posting.

Examples of Job Postings in a sentence

  • On External Job Postings, the three (3) highest scoring eligibles from the bargaining unit will be certified to the appointing authority for selection along with any of the eligibles on the eligibility list which may be certified to the appointing authority for selection.

  • Job Postings will be released electronically on the City’s intranet, on the same day they are issued to other work locations through hard copy.

  • Applicants for such Job Postings shall be considered on the basis of any or all of the following factors: seniority, education, training and work experience, ability and appraisal of past performance.

  • Job Postings resulting from technological change will be handled in accordance with the provisions of this Collective Agreement.

  • The Employer may certify to the appointing authority additional eligibles who are women, minorities, and/or members of other protected classes which are underutilized with respect to the involved job category for Job Postings other than promotional.

  • Vacancies of a temporary nature, which exceed or are expected to exceed three months will be posted as per Clause 24.1 (Job Postings).

  • Successful Applicants to Job Postings within or outside the Scope of this Agreement, if unsatisfactory and so advised in writing or the applicant finds him/herself unable to perform the duties of the position during the Trial Period, shall revert to the permanent classification and salary group held immediately preceding such Job Posting.

  • Wage protection applies to:  additional straight-time hours worked by a regular full-time and regular part-time employee as per Clause 14.2(e) (Hours of Work) in their classification;  overtime hours in the employee's classification;  statutory holidays/annual vacation pay/sick leave; and  assignment of regular hours as per Clause 24.1(c) (Job Postings) in the employee's classification.

  • A Student Employee may not bid on other Job Postings under this Agreement, while so employed.

  • Permanent Employees of the Construction Services Section shall be given first consideration for such Limited Job Postings, then second consideration being given to Probationary Employees of the Section, and last consideration to Students or Temporary Employees of the Section.

Related to Job Postings

  • Queue Position means the priority assigned to an Interconnection Request, a Completed Application, or an Upgrade Request pursuant to applicable provisions of Tariff, Part VI.

  • Job means a position or job family level in a job family [74:840-1.3].

  • Advertiser means a company that (i) advertises its brands, products, and/or services via the Advertisements; and/or (ii) interacts with Consumers on its Digital Properties or through its Ads in relation to its brands, products, and/or services.

  • Listings means information identifying the listed names of subscribers of carriers and subscribers’ telephone numbers, addresses or primary advertising classification or any combination, and that carrier or affiliate has published, caused to be published or accepted for publication in any directory format.

  • Web means the World Wide Web, containing among other things pages written in the hypertext markup language and/or any similar successor technology.
