Joint validation definition

Joint validation means combining the validation actions of two or more contracting authorities. The key defining characteristic is that there should be only one tender published on behalf of all participating authorities.

  • Genetic testing means an analysis of genetic markers to exclude or identify a man as the father or a woman as the mother of a child. The term includes an analysis of one or a combination of the following:

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Prosecution and Maintenance or “Prosecute and Maintain” means, with regard to a Patent Right, the preparing, filing, prosecuting and maintenance of such Patent Right, as well as handling re-examinations, reissues, and requests for patent term extensions with respect to such Patent Right, together with the conduct of interferences, the defense of oppositions and other similar proceedings with respect to the particular Patent Right.
