necessary skills means skills and experience, other than professional qualifications, specified by the Corporation as appropriate for members to have;
Prudent means economically and otherwise reasonable in light of the social benefits to be derived from the proposed regulated activity provided cost may be considered in deciding what is prudent and further provided a mere showing of expense will not necessarily mean an alternative is imprudent.
Degree means a course of study in a higher education institution leading to a degree as described in the Australian Qualifications Framework as at 1 January 1995.
best means, in relation to techniques, the most effective in achieving a high general level of protection of the environment as a whole;
the CE of Skills Funding means the Chief Executive of Skills Funding;
Skills means the ability to apply knowledge and use know-how to complete tasks and solve problems. In the context of the European Qualifications Framework, skills are described as cognitive (involving the use of logical, intuitive and creative thinking) or practical (involving manual dexterity and the use of methods, materials, tools and instruments);
Knowledge means actual knowledge after reasonable investigation.
Man means a male individual of any age.
the Employment, Skills and Enterprise Scheme means a scheme under section 17A (schemes for assisting persons to obtain employment: “work for your benefit” schemes etc.) of the Jobseekers Act 1995 known by that name and provided pursuant to arrangements made by the Secretary of State that is designed to assist claimants for job-seekers allowance to obtain employment, including self- employment, and which may include for any individual work-related activity (including work experience or job search);
Standard of Care has the meaning set forth in Section 14.1.
Business with which he is associated means any business of which a public servant or his relative is an officer, director, owner, partner, employee or is a holder of more than ten percent (10%) of the fair market value or from which he or his relative derives more than Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) in annual income or over which such public servant or his relative exercises control.
Reasonable person means a reasonable person under similar circumstances and with similar identities to the victim.
Handyperson means a person who is not a tradesperson and whose duties include the performance of routine repair work and maintenance in and about the employer’s premises.
Reasonable pupil means a pupil, including, but not limited to, an exceptional needs pupil, who exercises average care, skill, and judgment in conduct for a person of his or her age, or for a person of his or her age with his or her exceptional needs.
the Skipton Fund means the ex-gratia payment scheme administered by the Skipton Fund Limited, incorporated on 25th March 2004, for the benefit of certain persons suffering from hepatitis C and other persons eligible for payment in accordance with the scheme’s provisions;
Reasonable and Customary means, in relation to a charge for Medical Service, such level which does not exceed the general range of charges being charged by the relevant service providers in the locality where the charge is incurred for similar treatment, services or supplies to individuals with similar conditions, e.g. of the same sex and similar Age, for a similar Disability, as reasonably determined by the Company in utmost good faith. The Reasonable and Customary charges shall not in any event exceed the actual charges incurred.
Skilled journeyperson means a worker who either:
working time means any period during which the worker is working, at the employer’s disposal and carrying out his activity or duties, in accordance with national laws and/or practice;
Investor Material Adverse Effect means, with respect to a particular Investor, any fact, event, circumstance, change, occurrence, effect or condition which has had or would reasonably be expected to have, individually or in the aggregate with all other facts, events, circumstances, changes, occurrences, effects or conditions, a material adverse effect on the ability of such Investor to consummate the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

Impact means any effect caused by a proposed activity on the environment including human health and safety, flora, fauna, soil, air, water, climate, landscape and historical monuments or other physical structures or the interaction among these factors; it also includes effects on cultural heritage or socio-economic conditions resulting from alterations to those factors;
Prudent Industry Practice means such practices, methods, acts, techniques, and standards as are in effect at the time in question that are consistent with the higher of (a) the standards generally followed by the United States pipeline and terminalling industries and (b) the standards applied or followed by Delek US or its Affiliates in the performance of similar tasks or projects, or by the Partnership Group or its Affiliates in the performance of similar tasks or projects.
Possess means to have physical possession or otherwise to exercise dominion or control over tangible property.
