Lane Change Procedure definition

Lane Change Procedure. – means the sequence of operations aimed at performing a lane change of a vehicle. The sequence starts from the activation of the direction indicator lamps and ends when the direction indicator lamps are deactivated. It comprises the following operations:
Lane Change Procedure starts when the direction indicator lamps are activated and ends when the direction indicator lamps are deactivated. It comprises the following operations: (a) Activation of the direction indicator lamps; (b) Lateral movement of the vehicle towards the lane boundary;
Lane Change Procedure in the case of ACSF of Category C starts when the direction indicator lamps are activated by a deliberate action of the driver and ends when the direction indicator lamps are deactivated. It comprises the following operations: (a) Activation of the direction indicator lamps by a deliberate action of the driver; (b) Lateral movement of the vehicle towards the lane boundary;
