Late Opening definition

Late Opening. When the Superintendent or his/her designee determines that, because of a specific weather condition or an emergency situation, it may be hazardous for students to report to school at their regularly scheduled times, school-based employees may be allowed to report to work late. Employees whose work schedule requires them to report to work before or at the commencement of the students' school day shall report to work no later than the length of the announced delay beyond their regularly scheduled start time. Employees whose work schedule requires them to report to work after the announced time of a delayed school opening shall report to work at their regularly scheduled time. In such cases, employees will not suffer a loss in pay for arriving to work later than their regular start time. Such decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Late Opening. When the Superintendent or his/her designee determines that, because of a specific weather condition or an emergency situation, it may be hazardous for central office employees to arrive at their place of work at the time generally required by their work schedules, the Superintendent or his/her designee may allow central office employees to arrive at a time that is no later than the length of the announced delayed opening by the Bloomfield Public Schools. In such cases, employees will not suffer a loss in pay. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

  • Any such Late Opening Charges received by Club from Contractor shall reduce the Club Late Opening Charges due from City, dollar-for-dollar.

  • Upon execution of the Venue Construction Contract, City’s liability to Club and BSD for City’s failure to achieve Substantial Completion of the Venue Improvements Work on or before the Substantial Completion Deadline shall be limited to Club’s and BSD’s right to receive the Late Opening Charges.

  • If the Boutique Hotel and Entertainment Venue attain Operations Commencement within 120 days of the Gaming Area of the Permanent Facility attaining Operations Commencement (the “Redemption Period”), then the accrued Late Opening Fee shall be fully waived and reduced to zero.

  • Therefore, in the event Contractor shall fail to open for business in the Premises on or before the Latest Rental Commencement Date, Airports Authority may charge Contractor and Contractor shall pay to Airports Authority within 5 days of demand thereof, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per day for each day Contractor delays its initial opening after the Latest Rental Commencement Date (the "Late Opening Period").

  • The liquidated damages provided in (b) above reduced by any Late Opening Charges received from Contractor shall be Club’s sole and exclusive remedy for damages due to City’s delay in the Substantial Completion of the Venue.

Related to Late Opening

  • Private Open Space means land that is privately owned and used for practising of sport, play- or leisure facilities or used as a botanical garden, cemetery or nature area.

  • Site / Work place means the lands and other spaces above & below the ground level on which the works are to be carried out, any other lands or places provided by the Owner for the purpose of the Contract.

  • Large work place means a place at which, at an average 500 or more workers are employed in connection with construction work.

  • Public premises means any hotel, restaurant, tavern, store, arena, hall, or other place of public accommodation, business, amusement, or resort.

  • School Facilities means any public facilities owned or to be owned by the School District.
