Lead Researcher definition

Lead Researcher means the researcher identified as the “Lead Researcher” in the Research Proposal or such other person that may be subsequently identified as a replacement Lead Researcher by the Institution in accordance with Section 2.4 of this Agreement.
Lead Researcher the Researcher at the Research Institution who is leading the Project identified in Schedule 2. Research Institution Use Restrictions: the obligations relating to the Research Institution’s use of the Data as set out in Schedule 1. Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable human being, including but not limited to personal data within the meaning of European Union data protection laws and personally identifiable information within the meaning of United States data privacy laws. Project: the project for which the Research Institution wishes to use the Data, as detailed in Schedule 2. Purpose: to carry out research and analysis into methods to find, understand, investigate and counter cybercrime. This will include (but is not limited to) mining and correlating datasets to extract information about cybercriminal activity, developing new tools for cybercrime detection and forensics, carrying out assessments of the extent of cybercriminal activity, and illustrating how data from large disparate datasets can be combined in innovative ways in order to identify and measure cybercriminal activity. Researcher: any individual researcher working on the Project. Term: the period from the Commencement Date until the Agreement is terminated in accordance with clause 10.
Lead Researcher means the lead researcher listed in part 1 (Award Details) of the Award Terms;

More Definitions of Lead Researcher

Lead Researcher means the lead investigator on the Project as detailed on Page 1 of this Agreement and as identified in the Ethics Approval. The lead investigator has responsibility for the Project and has the authority to sign-off on instructions for SURE access, change of services or data refreshes in relation to their Project; Lead Research Organisation means the organisation with which the lead investigator on the Project is employed or affiliated, and is specified on the first page of this Agreement. The Lead Research Organisation has responsibility for the compliance with all conditions of this Agreement by the lead investigator and all other researchers employed by or affiliated with it and who are named on the Project, including those specified in any schedule attached to the Agreement. Where only one Research Organisation is listed on Page 1 of the Agreement, in accordance with the terms of this Agreement, that Research Organisation will be the Lead Research Organisation for the Agreement and all references to Participating Research Organisations will not be relevant for the purposes of this Agreement.
Lead Researcher means the person who (a) requests the desired IMPACT Resource, (b) is the principal investigator or researcher leading the project using the Resource, and (c) is responsible for ensuring that all responsibilities for the receipt, security, oversight, and handling of the Resource are met. The Class determines the terms and conditions associated with the Resource, and the associated level of approval. IMPACT has three (3) Resource Classes:
