Leave (Vacation. PGY-1 Three weeks (15 days) Paid Leave (Vacation) may not be taken and will not be granted during the first or last month of the GME Program under this AGREEMENT, subject only to the discretion of the Program Director, the GME Director and/or the Medical Center Administration. Scheduling of Paid Leave (Vacation) is at the discretion of the Program Director, the GME Director and/or the Medical Center Administration, as appropriate. Arrangements for Paid Leave (Vacation) of more than three (3) consecutive days should be made at least 30 days in advance. Appropriate forms and procedures for requesting leave may be obtained from the HSO.

Examples of Leave (Vacation in a sentence

  • If an employee chooses not to use all 10 hours of Healthcare Leave for this leave, the employee is required to use Annual Leave, Vacation, Compensatory, and PIP balances in that order for the Leave for School and Childcare Activities.

  • Employees will be required to use available Annual Leave, Vacation, Compensatory Leave, and PIP time in that order until all accrued leave time is exhausted.

  • This does not apply during any portion of the Leave where the employee is applying Annual Leave, Vacation, Compensatory Leave or PIP balances to the leave.

  • Employees will be required to use available accrued Annual Leave, Vacation, Compensatory Leave, and PIP time in that order until all accrued leave is exhausted.

  • Once an employee exhausts accrued Sick/Healthcare Leave balances, the employee may use Annual Leave, Vacation, Compensatory, and PIP balances in that order.

  • General Illness Leave, Short Term Illness Leave, Vacation Leave, Family Illness Leave, Emergency Leave and Leave for Medical and Dental appointments will be pro-rated based on service in the fiscal year.

  • However, to the extent that an employee has accrued leave balances, the employee is required to use Annual Leave, Sick/Healthcare Leave, Vacation time, Compensatory, and PIP balances in that order for the Leave.

  • If an employee uses CFRA Leave for purposes of “child bonding,” the employee is required to use accrued Annual Leave, Vacation, Sick/Healthcare balances, Compensatory, and PIP balances in that order.

  • In instances when the Parenthood Leave is not running concurrently with FMLA, CFRA, or PDL, employees are required to use available accrued Annual Leave, Healthcare Leave, Vacation, Compensatory Leave, and PIP time in that order for this Leave.

  • Applicable MOU Provision(s) Upon implementation of Paid Parental Leave program, all parties agree to eliminate applicable provisions for the Preservation of Sick Leave (Vacation) During Extended Leave which states: • Whenever a permanent employee has requested an extended leave of absence (more than 30 days), the employee has the option to retain up to eighty-hours of sick leave/vacation/holiday pay in the system.

  • Vacation means annual vacation with pay.

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work by virtue of being sick or disabled or because of an accident not covered by Workers' Compensation.

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the last day of March of the following calendar year.

  • Paid sick leave – means paid leave under the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act.
