Letter of Credit Business Day definition

Letter of Credit Business Day means a Business Day.
Letter of Credit Business Day means a day of the year on which banks are not required or authorized by law to close in New York City and on which banks are not required or authorized by law to close in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (or, if Mellon Bank, N.A. is no longer the Issuing Bank, in the city in which the principal letter of credit operations of the Issuing Bank are located).
Letter of Credit Business Day means any day except (i) a Saturday, Sunday or (ii) any other day on which banks in New York City or São Paulo, Brazil are authorized or required by law to close.

Examples of Letter of Credit Business Day in a sentence

  • The Overnight Rate for any day which is not a Letter of Credit Business Day (or on which dealings are not carried on in the applicable offshore interbank market) shall be the Overnight Rate for the immediately preceding Letter of Credit Business Day.
