Licensed Back Patents definition

Licensed Back Patents means the (i) the Transferred Patents practiced by any businesses of the Company (other than the Business) as of the Agreement Date, and (ii) any Patents claiming priority to or issuing from the foregoing.
Licensed Back Patents means the (i) the Transferred Patents, (ii) any Patents claiming an invention in the field of the Business or any remaining business of Seller or any of its Subsidiaries for which a Transferred Employee is entitled or required to be named as an inventor and that are issued from Patent Applications filed within 12 months after the Closing Date, and (iii) any Patents claiming priority to or issuing from the foregoing.
Licensed Back Patents means the (i) the Business Patents and (ii) any Patents claiming priority to or issuing from the Business Patents.

More Definitions of Licensed Back Patents

Licensed Back Patents means (a) all Transferred Patents (if any), (b) all other Patents claiming priority to a Transferred Patent for which a Transferred Employee or Canadian Transferred Employee is entitled, or required, to be named as an inventor and that are filed within eighteen months after the Closing, (c) any Patents claiming priority to, or issuing from any of the foregoing Patents, and (d) any foreign counterpart of any of the foregoing Patents.
Licensed Back Patents means all Patents identified in Schedule F, attached hereto as part of this IPAL Agreement, including any Foreign Counterparts.
Licensed Back Patents means any and all Patents (a) would be infringed by or are otherwise necessary to Licensor’s business, products, or services in the Field, or are otherwise commercialized by Licensee in products in the Field and (b) become Controlled by Licensee after the Effective Date.

  • Collaboration Patents means any and all Patents that claim or cover any of the Collaboration Know-How.

  • Product Patents means any Patent Controlled or owned by Quoin in the Territory that, absent the license in Section 2.1, would be infringed by the importation, sale, or use of the Product in the Territory by a third party.

  • Licensed Patent means Stanford's rights in U.S. Patent Application, Serial Number , filed , any foreign patent application corresponding thereto, and any divisional, continuation, or reexamination application, extension, and each patent that issues or reissues from any of these patent applications. Any claim of an unexpired Licensed Patent is presumed to be valid unless it has been held to be invalid by a final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction from which no appeal can be or is taken. “Licensed Patent” excludes any continuation-in-part (CIP) patent application or patent.

  • Joint Patents means all Patents claiming Joint Inventions.

  • Licensed IP means the Intellectual Property owned by any person other than the Corporation and to which the Corporation has a license which has not expired or been terminated;

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents, the Licensor Know-How, Licensor Materials, Product IP, and Licensor’s rights in the Program IP and Joint Patents.

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Joint Invention has the meaning set forth in Section 9.1.

  • Joint IP means Joint Know-How and Joint Patent Rights.
