Licensed teaching experience definition

Licensed teaching experience means teaching in a K-12 public or private school while holding a standard or provisional teaching license, or the equivalent if the applicant is seeking licensure reciprocity. Teaching experience under a licensure exception does not count as licensed teaching experience;

  • Licensed teaching experience outside Helena School District No. 1 shall be recognized on a one year for one-year basis up to a maximum of 10 years of experience recognition.

  • Licensed teaching experience outside Helena School District No. 1 shall be recognized on a one (1) year for one (1) year basis up to a maximum of 6 (six) years of experience.
