Life pension definition

Life pension means an allowance paid monthly for:
Life pension means a pension payable from the Pension Benefit Account.
Life pension means the PENSION payable by the FUND in accordance with the provisions of Rule 5.3.3 (rule dealing with the terms and conditions applicable to payment of LIFE PENSIONS from the FUND) and Rule 6.3 (rule dealing with benefits payable on the death of a PENSIONER). A LIFE PENSION is a monthly PENSION paid, in the case of a QUALIFYING CHILD for the period until he ceases to qualify as such, or in the case of other BENEFICIARIES for the lifetime of the BENEFICIARY.

Examples of Life pension in a sentence

  • With the mutual consent of the Employer and the Union, the Sun Life pension plan may be changed to an alternative plan.

  • Those employees in the Sun Life pension plan on the day the Agreement is signed will continue in that pension plan.

  • No employees will join the Sun Life pension plan after this Agreement is signed.

  • Effective August 6, 2010, in no case shall the Straight Life pension benefit for a bargaining unit member under this contract exceed 100% of the employee’s base salary at the time of retirement.

  • With the mutual consent of the Employer and the union, the Sun Life pension plan may be changed to an alternative plan.

  • Participant rights and obligations with regard to the pension scheme are laid down in the Swiss Life pension plan rules which are attached to the Agreement.

  • Effective January 1, 2008, in no case shall the Straight Life pension benefit for a bargaining unit member under this contract exceed 100% of the employee's base salary at the time of retirement.
