Limited duration appointment definition

Limited duration appointment means an appointment to an identified classification, made through the Auditor’s Office Civil Service process, to a permanent budgeted position that is vacant because of the incumbent's leave of absence, when the replacement employee's services will be needed for a period of two years or less.
