Examples of Limited Duty in a sentence
Members assigned to Limited Duty as a result of a duty related injury or illness shall be permitted to report to a treating physician for consultation, treatment or therapy of the injury or illness that has resulted in the Limited Duty assignment without use of any leave.
Members assigned to Limited Duty as a result of an off duty injury or illness shall use Sick with Pay leave when reporting to a treating physician for consultation, treatment or therapy of the injury or illness that has resulted in the Limited Duty assignment.
Members assigned to Limited Duty from an off-duty injury or illness shall be assigned to a schedule of five (5) days a week, eight (8) hours a day.
Members assigned to Limited Duty from an on-duty injury shall be assigned to a work schedule of four (4) days a week, ten (10) hours a day.
Seniority An employee on a Limited Duty assignment will continue to retain and accrue Seniority for all purposes.
Once the treating and/or consulting physician issues a full release, an employee on Limited Duty must return to his normal job duties immediately.
