Linear Television Channel definition

Linear Television Channel means a channel, network or programming service that Broadcasts Audiovisual Content in a manner that is linear-streamed, programmed and transmitted to viewers in a continuous and sequential manner, scheduled by the channel, network or programming service (and not by the viewer) during a significant majority of each consecutive twenty-four hour period.

Examples of Linear Television Channel in a sentence

  • Licensee shall not enter into any Sublicensing Arrangement that involves the Broadcast of Licensed Content on any third party Linear Television Channel.

  • For purposes of this Section 7.2(a) only, the term “Program” shall refer to Programs initially Broadcast, or intended for initial Broadcast, on a Linear Television Channel.

  • For purposes of this Section 7.2(b) only, the term “Program” shall refer to Programs initially Broadcast, or intended for initial Broadcast, on a Linear Television Channel.

  • It is understood and agreed that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Grupo Televisa shall not pursue a Stand Alone Business that consists primarily of the ownership and/or operation of a Spanish language Linear Television Channel in the Territory during the Term.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Grupo Televisa shall not be permitted to Broadcast, license or otherwise make available for Broadcast any Charitable/Religious Content during the Term in the Territory on a Linear Television Channel, or on a continuous streamed basis as to constitute, or take on the characteristics of, a Linear Television Channel.

  • Of the Guaranteed Advertising Amount, no less than sixty percent (60%) will be made available on the Networks and, subject to availability, the TuTv Networks, and the remainder on the Stations; provided, that, subject to Licensee’s written consent (which may be withheld in its sole discretion), the Guaranteed Advertising Amount may also be made available on any other Linear Television Channel.

  • It is understood and agreed that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Grupo Televisa shall not pursue a Proposed New Business that consists primarily of the ownership and/or operation of a Spanish language Linear Television Channel in the Territory during the Term.
