LIQUID CAPACITY means the volume of liquid that is contained in a septic tank or treatment unit measured from the invert of the outlet; “liquid capacity” shall be calculated by multiplying the inside length by the inside width by the depth measured from the invert of the outlet to the unit’s floor and converting the result of this calculation to gallons;
LIQUID CAPACITY means the volume of liquid that a septic tank or treatment unit can hold as measured from the invert of the outlet. This volume is calculated by multiplying the tank’s inside length by its inside width by its depth (as measured from the invert of the outlet to the floor of the tank) and converting the resulting product to gallons.
