Loan secured definition

Loan secured means the point at which a financial organization and customer have completed all documents associ- ated with a commitment of funds and an agreement to repay the funding. The term applies to original loans and to the creation of additional funding.

Examples of Loan secured in a sentence

  • The Mortgage or related security agreement for each Mortgage Loan secured by a hospitality property creates a security interest in the revenues of such property for which a UCC financing statement has been filed in the appropriate filing office.

  • With respect to each Mortgage Loan secured by retail, office or industrial properties, the Mortgage Loan Seller requested the related Mortgagor to obtain estoppels from each commercial tenant with respect to the Certified Rent Roll (except for tenants for whom the related lease income was excluded from the Mortgage Loan Seller’s underwriting).

  • No Mortgage Loan is cross-collateralized or cross-defaulted with any other mortgage loan that is outside the Trust, except (i) with respect to any Crossed Underlying Loan, any mortgage loan that is part of a Whole Loan that is cross-collateralized and cross-defaulted with such Mortgage Loan or with a Whole Loan of which such Mortgage Loan is a part, (ii) any Companion Loan secured by the same Mortgage as the related Mortgage Loan, or (iii) as set forth on Schedule 2-B of this Exhibit 2.

  • Funding agrees to accept the assignment of the Purchased Loans and Purchased Loan Contracts arising from the satisfaction of a Dealer Loan resulting from a Dealer Collections Purchase by CAC in satisfaction of such Dealer Loan secured by the related Dealer Loan Contracts.

Related to Loan secured

  • Term Loan Secured Parties means the “Secured Parties” as defined in the Term Loan Credit Agreement.

  • Term Loan Security Documents means the “Security Documents” as defined in the Term Loan Credit Agreement.

  • Loan secured by real property means that 50% or more of the aggregate value of the collateral used to secure a loan or other obligation, when valued at fair market value as of the time the original loan or obligation was incurred, was real property.

  • Secured means when referring to a Claim: (a) secured by a Lien on property in which the Estate has an interest, which Lien is valid, perfected, and enforceable pursuant to applicable law or by reason of a Bankruptcy Court order, or that is subject to setoff pursuant to section 553 of the Bankruptcy Code, to the extent of the value of the creditor’s interest in the Estate’s interest in such property or to the extent of the amount subject to setoff, as applicable, as determined pursuant to section 506(a) of the Bankruptcy Code; or (b) Allowed pursuant to the Plan or separate order of the Bankruptcy Court as a secured claim.

  • First Lien Secured Parties means (i) the Credit Agreement Secured Parties and (ii) the Additional First-Lien Secured Parties with respect to each Series of Additional First-Lien Obligations.
