Local Message definition

Local Message means those messages that originate and terminate within the area defined as the local service area of the station from which the message originates.
Local Message means a completed call between customers served by the same central office or between customers served by two different central offices as defined by and in accordance with tariffs.

  • data message means information generated, sent, received or stored by electronic, optical or similar means including, but not limited to, electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic mail, telegram, telex or telecopy;
